AB 1825 Update:  FEHC Modifies Regulations Again, and Again

The latest rounds of proposed rulemaking are a mixed bag for employers.  Here’s a rundown on the good, the bad and the confusing new requirements.

In late 2006 and early 2007, California’s Fair Employment and Housing Commission (FEHC) released revised versions of the proposed regulations for AB 1825.  These are the latest in a series of FEHC efforts to set a framework for employer compliance with the groundbreaking mandatory timed training law.  Most would agree that the process has been somewhat arduous and that regulators, in a desperate attempt to try and appease everyone, have flip-flopped on many aspects of the regulations over the past six months. more>>
