Employment Law Training
More often than we like, managers make comments or take actions that undermine an employee's "at-will" status. This practical "how to" course was created for managers and supervisors who are involved in the hiring, performance evaluation, and/or employee termination process. Our course covers: employment contracts and exceptions to at-will, whistle-blower and retaliation issues, constructive termination, safe termination meetings, promissory fraud, defamation, reference requests and much more!
The employment law training course comes in a manager version only and takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. The course also includes a glossary of terms, a manager's reference guide, a map of states indicating at-will status, and the ability to email and ask the trainer questions about the course concepts. All "ask the trainer" questions are answered within two business days. This course is delivered in English, but can be translated into other languages as well.
