Director, Product Management

About The Role

Emtrain is looking for a UX-centric, hands-on and collaborative Director of Product Management. You will work directly with the Chief Product Officer, and collaborate with heads of Engineering and Design to drive Emtrain’s ambitious product portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work with an experienced team on highly-innovative new products. We’re on a mission to provide our customers with the insights, tools and content that will help them transform their workplace culture, end harassment, and build more respectful and inclusive workplaces.


You will

  • Work with the CPO to plan and manage the product roadmap
  • Own features from conception to launch
  • Own the product backlog and manage prioritization of the queue with design and engineering
  • Work directly with customers to understand user behavior and buyer mindset
  • Find solutions that balance our the goals of strategic roadmap and the needs of strategic customers

We’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role for web-based consumer or user-focused B2B Internet products
  • A strong understanding of, and point of view on UX
  • Outstanding collaboration and leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with audiences that include customers, engineers and executives
  • Extraordinary problem solving and communication skills
  • Experience working in agile environments, and ability to own key product development workstreams from concept to launch
  • A naturally curious, continuous-learner who who is constantly looking for ways to create market differentiation

Nice to have

  • Experience with multiple product management environments/approaches
  • Experience working with EdTech or HR-focused products
  • Experience formulating/running/analyzing A/B tests
